Just a quick sketch/trace over of one of my favorite Kids in the Hall characters, Mr. Tyzik, the headcrusher guy. If you never heard of Kids in the Hall, I highly recommend you check them out. It’s a very smart and very funny Canadian sketch comedy t.v. show.

Mark McKinney’s Chicken Lady character from Kids in the Hall. I’ve reimagined her as a bit more chicken than she was, more of a hybrid face. God that was a funny character.

Sometimes, when designing, you’re left with any number of unused elements. I was doing some menu design as part of an identity project for The Beagle, a new bar and restaurant in NYC, and when finished, I was left with several unused illustrations of hands I created. It gave me the opportunity to design what just may be the nerdiest poster of my life.
