Scott Thompson teams up with the Levy Brothers for a night of comedy and comic film
“As a young gay teen, Scott Thompson was my biggest inspiration and influence. I learned everything I know about comedy from Thompson and Paul Bellini,” says Josh Levy, one half of the handsome and talented Levy Brothers and director of 4 Pounds and 52. Both films were penned by and star Thompson and were shot on location in the funnyman’s condo. The Kids in the Hall alumnus is set to host Screening Party, a night of fruity comedy and film. The event will feature a performance by comedian Darryl Dinn, a brand-new set of standup by Thompson and video excerpts from Thompson’s hilarious and eccentric Fruit Blog. “I am so proud of Fruit Blog,” says Thompson. “It’s so different and weird and it makes people uncomfortable. I just posted a video about bananas. I think you’re going to love it.”
